Haba! What sort of old men have God decided to give us Africans as
rulers? For decades if not up to century, we have decided on our own
accord not to do anything worthwhile. Our rulers have long washed
their dirty linen in the full glare of the watching talkative.
The last time I checked my list of rulers who have not only surprised
me but have also decided to make themselves laughing tools, they
include; the former Pharaoh, the man named Ben, the other one who
feels he isn't a President, not a Prime Minister but a Revolutionist
yet opted to become an African President. What insolence! Well there
is one who recently made a joke of himself by allowing his
subordinates pick him, in fact dig him out of a hiding 'hole.'
The issue is that from my research, and info gathered, 2011 doesn't
look too promising. Statically there are 54 countries inside Africa.
2011 looks like a year of turbulence in certain terrain. By the end of
2011, about 32,009,027 people will have died. There will be at least
1.7 coup, 2.3 civil wars, 5 famines, 12 floods, 7 mining disasters,
27,000 buildings will collapse, 33 persons will be eaten by crocodiles,
half a million will be stung by bees, billion mosquitoes will be
delivered to bite. Whether you believe it or not, we can all see the
lingering dirty washing that is going on in public.
Ben Ali was the first to start all the 'madness', with Tunisia in
mind, the world expected peace but when it was time to start washing,
Mr. Ben did what he knows best-pure madness. Brother Hosni the
'Pharaoh' did knew very well that he could rain tranquility but 'the
Lord hardened his heart', and thus embarrassed him at Tahrir Square.
Brother Gaddafi also did wash; in fact he is still washing his dirty
linen in public because with him, the Green Square is his personal
abode, 'so no bagga can fit any yawa.' The world's largest Cocoa
exporting country, Ivory Coast did show us and the entire world what
it really means to do 'hide and seek.' Gbagbo and Outtarra did do
their little wits to either confuse us or infuse themselves. The rest
they say is 'history.' Wasn't it recently that Al Bashir was summoned?
The man - Charles Taylor is still paying for his sins of playing small
games with big countries.
A word of advice is enough for the wise. Instead of allowing we
to be seen as 'irresponsible' in attitude, then let's go back to the
drawing board and do it right. Africa should be the number one
priority in our hearts. Individualism will lead us nowhere.
We must have a place of bliss in our hearts - heaven. Don't get me
wrong because your heaven can be anywhere, anytime. But we must also
know that to sniff heaven, one must first renounce evil and return to
the society penniless but content with the chance to purify his soul.
